Cy Young is the second release in the five-part “T-206 Baseball Series.” Cy Young’s T-206 tobacco card image was officially licensed for use on this bar and its production has been strictly limited to a total of 1,909 units (across all three designs) – in honor of the year his card was originally issued.

Denton True “Cy” Young played with five clubs over his 22 year career. With over 2,800 strikeouts and a win/loss record of 511-316, the dominant “Cyclone” would have been great in any generation. The Gilmore, Ohio native holds baseball’s all-time record in wins, complete games, games started, innings pitched and four other categories.

Young’s T-206 cards were issued with three different images from 1909-1911, and a variety of tobacco brands represented on the back. In addition to the portrait, the other two images replicated in this set are known as “bare hand shows,” and “glove shows.”

Each bar is struck from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver and finished with a stunning, vibrantly colored obverse depicting the 1909 T-206 Cy Young tobacco card.

The obverse of each bar depicts a full color reprint of the 1909 Cy Young T-206 tobacco card, “Bare Hand Shows” variety.

The reverse of each bar is struck with the hallmark, purity and weight.
